The ability to play for free in demo mode is also helpful if you want to hone your crash gambling strategy before risking real money.

However, the visuals aren’t that great, with the multiplier progression represented by a simple line graph rather than something more interesting.

Stake Poker is available via a third-party provider. It works fine but I don’t think hardcore poker players will be overly impressed with it - there are better options out there for poker.

One one of the areas where I think Stake casino stands out is the quality of its original games.

Navigating around Stake’s football markets is predictably easy. There are over 100 markets open on the bigger fixtures and I was really pleased to see a great selection of asian handicap lines.

The corners, cards, and specials markets are also more extensive than many competitors - the ‘Booking 1x2’ market is a personal favourite of mine.

It’s a shame that there isn’t much football live streaming, as that would really push this product to the next level.

Horse racing cards are fairly standard, there’s a strong selection of esports markets available, and the other key sports like tennis, basketball, and hockey are all adequately covered.

Stake is an official betting partner of the UFC and an exclusive title partner of the F1 Team Kick Sauber racing team, so its credentials in these sports can’t be questioned.

Live streaming is also available on selected events, but it would be nice to have a category or filter option to see just these events.

Stake payment methods

Stake accepts deposits and withdrawals via cryptocurrencies, credit/debt card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, SEPA/SEPA Instant, UK Faster Payments and PIX, depending on players’ location.

Payments are straightforward and there are guides published in the Stake help centre to assist where there are additional steps required for specific currencies like CAD, INR and JPY.
