13 companies now hold gaming-related vendor licenses in the developing UAE market.
Global cross-platform gaming manufacturer Light & Wonder has been awarded a gaming-related vendor licence in the UAE.
The Las Vegas, Nevada headquarted company has offices and staff across the Americas, Europe and APAC.
“Securing a license from the GCGRA is an important milestone for Light & Wonder as we enter one of the most anticipated new regulated markets in the world,” said Light & Wonder President & CEO Matt Wilson.

Gaming-related vendor licenses are one of five different license types issued by the GCGRA.
Lottery and land-based gaming facilities licenses have been granted to The Game LLC (operator of the UAE Lottery) and Wynn Al Marjan respectively.
The final two license categories relate to internet gaming and sports wagering - to date no UAE online casinos or betting sites have acquired a GCGRA license.
