The new licensees will provide products and services across the live gaming and lottery spaces.
Two more gaming companies - TCSJOHNHUXLEY and Pollard Banknote - have been issued with gaming-related vendor licenses in the UAE.
UK-headquartered TCSJOHNHUXLEY is a leading manufacturer and supplier of live gaming solutions and services.
Its gaming tables, card shufflers, displays, and other products may soon be seen on the casino floor at the Wynn Al Marjan Island integrated resort, which is due to open in 2027.
“The UAE represents a significant and exciting new market, and we look forward to a long and successful future doing business here, contributing to the development of a world-class gaming industry,” said the company’s Executive Chairman, Tristan Sjöberg.
Canadian lottery specialists Pollard Banknote also recently received the green light to provide gaming services in the UAE.
Pollard Banknote partners with lotteries around the world to create instant games and other retail and digital solutions.
It joins a slew of other lottery tech and services companies now licensed in the UAE, where the official UAE Lottery is currently the only legal lottery provider.
The total number of gaming-related vendors licensed by the GCGRA in this category now stands at 12.
The aforementioned Wynn Al Marjan Island project and UAE Lottery product also hold GCGRA licenses. No internet gaming or sports wagering licenses have been issued to date.
